Terem Moffi is delighted to get a late invitation to the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The OGC striker was initially omitted from Nigeria’s final squad for the competition.
The 24-year-old, however, earned a late invitation as a replacement.
“I’m happy to be back in the team,” Moffi stated.
” Naturally, it was not easy for me to be left out of the team for the tournament initially, but I’m going to give my best to the team.”
The striker has scored four goals in 12 appearances for the Super Eagles.
Moffi is expected to link up with the rest of the Super Eagles squad on Sunday.
