Abia Warriors are set to miss the service of six players for their matchday 14 fixture against Shooting Stars, DAILY POST reports.

The Ochendo Boys goalkeeper, Ali Ishaku will miss the game with an eye injury sustained in training while midfielder Philip Ozor is out with a knee injury.

John Ogu, Chinalu Domingo and Felix Ugonna are sidelined with thigh injuries while Sunday Megwo is undergoing treatment for a shoulder injury.

Abia Warriors are desperate to return to winning ways after three games winless run.

The match is billed for the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.

Abia Warriors beat Shooting Stars 2-1 in their last meeting in 2022.

Bello Lukman and Kalu Nweke netted for Abia Warriors in the game, while Gafar Olafiminhan scored the consolation goal for Shooting Stars.
