Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayoโ€˜s movie titled โ€˜Jagun Jagunโ€™ (The Warrior), which premiered on Netflix today, 10, August, shows that the Yoruba movie industry has really stepped up its game with movie productions.

OsunDailyNG reports that the 2-hour indigenous movie shows Femiโ€™s transition from a gentle and calm actor gentle to a action based actor.

From the cast, unpredictable storyline, bloodshed, and fight scene, plot twist, soundtrack, subtle love story and several stunts will definitely give you goosebumps.

The movie tells the story of a violent and selfish leader of an elite army who is threatened when a mystical young warrior crossed his path.

The young man, a character played by Lateef Adedimeji, was determined to become a mighty warrior, and he joined the elite army, encountering the wrath of the maniacal warlord (Femi Adebayo) and the love of a woman.

The message of the movie is also relatable to how selfish and power-hungry politicians use youths to execute their dirty jobs while they keep their children safe.

A surprising twist about the movie was โ€˜Agemoโ€™, the god/masquerade which the maniacal warlord uses in attacking innocent people, especially when his army is losing.

โ€˜Agemoโ€™, who was unveiled by Lateef during an attack in the forest, turned out to be the kingโ€™s adopted daughter captured during a raid at a community.

The movie featured Faithia Williams, Lateef Adedimeji, Bukunmi Oluwashina, Musa Dayo, Adebayo Salami, Peju Ogunmola, Yinka Quadri, Bimbo Ademoye, Kunle Afod, Aisha Lawal and many others.

Femi Adebayo did a good job with the movie, considering some of the movies we had previously seen in the Yoruba genre.
