“May his soul rest in peace until resurrection morning. President Tinubu, as you reflect on your predecessor’s legacy, I appeal to your conscience: Nigeria is hurting. Millions are broken. Many have lost faith in political leaders because the pain left behind has fermented into bitterness and hate,” he stated.

Buba Galadima, a former ally to the late Muhammadu Buhari says he has forgiven the ex-President for everything he did to him.

Buba Galadima was one of the signatories to the merger that birthed the  All Progressives Congress, APC, and worked tirelessly  for the election of Buhari in 2015.

But at some point, the former National Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, left the former President and became a known critic of his administration.

In one of his recent interviews, Galadima described both the APC and the opposition figures turning Buhari’s home into a Mecca as useless people who can’t differentiate between their left and right, insisting the former President is of no use.

He said Buhari is not relevant in Nigerian politics and should go rest and wait for his death.

Galadima, who claimed to be the fourth person on the list of those who signed the form for the creation of APC, said he later found out that Buhari was the greatest fraud to have happened to Nigeria, adding that his former ally managed to conceal his true intentions for 15 years.

The President died on Sunday in London, United Kingdom while receiving treatment for a yet to be disclosed ailment.

Speaking in Hausa after hearing about the passing of the former military head of state, Galadima said “…I forgive Buhari for everything he has done to me in life…”

Buhari will be buried on Tuesday in his home town of Daura, Katsina State.

A Nigerian delegation led by the vice president, Kashim Shettima is currently in London to bring home the remains of the former President.
