Four hundred and thirteen Nigerians fleeing war-torn Sudan, on Sunday, arrived in Abuja and were received by Federal Government officials.
OsunDaily News reports that the Max Air flight conveying the returnees landed at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 10:50 am on Sunday.
It is understood that the returnees are the fourth batch to be repatriated from Sudanย following the evacuation of Nigerian students from the war-torn North African country.
This development comes hours after the third batch of Nigerian evacuees was received in Abuja from Port Sudan by Federal Government officials on Saturday.
According to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, the returnees made up of 131 people, mostly women and children, landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 1:45pm.
The officials expressed optimism that the process would be successfully completed.
