Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah netted a hattrick in Liverpool’s incredible victory against Rangers in their Champions League tie.

Liverpool thrashed Rangers in the Champions League thanks to two goals from the Brazilian Roberto Firmino, a goal from Nunez, a hattrick from Mohamed Salah, and a last-minute strike from Harvey Elliot.

Liverpool defeated Rangers 7-1, and Mohamed Salah’s three goals from the bench put them in a good position to advance to the Champions League’s knockout round.

As a result of Wednesday’s outcome, Liverpool only needs a point from their final two Champions League group stage contests against Napoli and Ajax to advance.

Salah walked into the Ibrox field without much fanfare after Nunez had just made it 3-1 in favour of the visitors.

The Egyptian king, who has not been at the top of his game, stunned the Ibrox crowd with a hattrick in six minutes.

Jurgen Klopp, who had left the Egyptian out of his starting lineup against the Scottish side, told beIN Sports at full time, “Mo is Mo.” He added.,“Quickest hattrick in Champions League history—that’s something special.”

In his interview with BT Sport, Klopp continued: “We had a really positive half-time talk. We wanted more in the second half. Clearly, it worked out.

“Special, particularly Mo. It is very important how we adapt to the positions in the line-up. Everyone who started tonight played really well—Fabio [Carvalho] and Harvey [Elliott] really well. It’s the best we could have asked for. I’m really pleased.

“I really think the first half prepared the second half. When we are on it, we can be a really good football team. We built on the good things from the first half; we kept them moving and, obviously, they had to change the centre-half.

“The goals we scored were exceptional. It’s a night where things worked out for us. It definitely changes the mood, and that’s good. We all know who is coming on Sunday. That will be different, but it’s better to go in with the feeling from tonight.”
