Ijesa North Federal Constituency are lucky to be represented by a workaholic and responsive senior ranking lawmaker in Hon. Wole Oke.
His accomplishments in every sphere of the Constituency life , his personal popularity and team work with the loyal and faithful members of Peoples Democratic Party has helped mask a sharp recognition and acceptability of the party in Ijesa North over the past 20 years .PDP now in control of governance affairs in the entire state since Nov 27th, 2022.
Economy
The economic successes via empowerment , human capacity development, skills acquisition training and jobs placement into federal establishments has transformed every household in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency. Hon. Wole Oke took office in May 2019 In the midst of the nation economic depression, Oke have reduced unemployment rate in the Constituency, Artisans empowerment for self sustainability is on the increase , ditto the Ijesha North Women Cooperative Society boosts small scale businesses and Improve lives of the constituents during the economy downturn.Provision of Relief materials to flood victims, ditto provision of rice,beans and sanitizers to Ijesa North Federal constituents to cushioned the effects of covid 19 in year 2020 and extended to Ijesha South Federal Constituency and Osun populace at large via funds support and 600 bags of rice worth #15m to the Osun state government by the senior ranking lawmaker.
Dividends of Democracy.
In the areas of Education, scholarship was awarded to students enrolled into Technical College, Ijebu Jesa/Ijeda Ijesa to cover their 3 years duration courses , their tuition fees covered, Examinations fees paid by BOO , JAMB disbursement funds to 5000 students on yearly basis , supplies of textbooks and notebooks to the students , uplifting of dilapidated schools via funds intervention for reconstruction projects , Provision of Laboratory equipment to Ibokun and Ilare grammar schools respectively , JABU Arts Theatre building foundation was laid and when completed to serve as an impactful for knowledge and learning , establishment of computer ICT based in Ipetu Ijesa grammar school, rural electrification projects completed , funds intervention to various communities to purchased 500KVA Transformers by the senior ranking lawmaker and water boreholes constructions for many communities completed, health centre rehabilitation and health care delivery for the constituents, rehabilitation of roads by FERMA facilitated are many dividends of democracy provided by the senior ranking lawmaker for his constituents.
Security
Since the rampage of banditry and kidnapping in the country, no bandits or kidnappers has successfully planned and executed in Ijesa North territory, Courtesy of Hon Wole Oke partnership with Security Agencies to curb crimes and social menace in the Constituency, Patrol vehicles was donated to Air Force formation in Ipetu Ijesa and to various Police Division, Civil Defence Command and Amotekun Corps in Ijesa North.
