The mother of the late Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa, widely recognized as Mohbad, Abosede Aloba, has engaged in a verbal war with actor Yomi Fabiyi regarding the circumstances surrounding her sonโs death.
During a World Press Conference held on Wednesday at the Radisson Blu in Ikeja, Lagos State, where he sought justice for Mohbad, Fabiyi accused the late singerโs brother, Adura Aloba, of reaching out to him via Instagram, asserting that he possessed knowledge about the true cause of his brotherโs death.
However, in her response, Aloba refuted this assertion, emphasizing that Adura could not possibly know the reasons behind Mohbadโs passing and should refrain from speaking on the matter.
OsunDailyNG reports that the visibly distressed mother directed her anger towards Fabiyi, asserting that she would not permit him to inflict further pain by taking another child from her.
She expressed her profound sorrow over Mohbadโs death, stating that had her son been alive, she would not have been present in the same venue as Fabiyi.
โThey killed Mohbad, and you want me to lose his brother unjustly. He knows nothing about his brotherโs death; do not implicate my son.
โI am not happy that I lost Mohbad because if he were alive, I wouldnโt be sitting here with you. They took my precious gift away, and I wonโt let them take Adura, too,โ she added.
Fabiyi responded, saying he wasnโt concerned about the messageโs sender but rather the content itself, maintaining that he wasnโt convinced that it wasnโt Adura who sent him the message.
