The draw for the fourth round of the 2024-2025 Carabao Cup has been made, and it promises some intriguing matchups.
The reigning champions of the Carabao Cup, Liverpool, will be travelling to Brighton, while Tottenham will host Manchester City in what is undoubtedly the standout tie of the round.
There are a couple of all-Premier League clashes as well, with Manchester United welcoming Leicester City to Old Trafford, and Crystal Palace heading to Aston Villa.
In addition, there are three Championship teams still in the competition. Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke have been drawn away at Brentford and Southampton respectively, while Preston will be hosting Arsenal.
AFC Wimbledon are the lowest-ranked side still in the Carabao Cup this season. Their third-round tie against Newcastle United was postponed due to flooding at Cherry Records Stadium. The rescheduled fixture is set to take place on 1 October at Newcastleโs St Jamesโ Park, with the winner earning the right to host Chelsea in the fourth round.
The fourth-round ties are scheduled to be played on the week commencing 28 October.
