Former Chelsea and AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has backed Portugal to win the Euro 2024.
The Euro 2024 will commence from 14 June – 14 July, this year and the host nation is Germany.
Speaking on Vibe with Five podcast on Thursday, Mourinho also tipped England among the favourites to taste glory in Germany with a squad that includes the likes of Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
“It is a very good generation,” Mourinho said. “They [England] got to the Euro [2020] final, they can do it.
“The mentality of the guys who have gone abroad, Bellingham for example, I believe there is something that separates him from the boys that were born in England, developed in England, and are playing in England.
He added, “I cannot say I wish they [England] do it because I think Portugal can do it and I wish Portugal would do it.”
