The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu on Friday said the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar will not waste the first six months if he emerges winner in 2023.

He further stated that PDP is already preparing for governance, while other parties are still confused about the campaign.

According to Ayu, Atiku has exhibited his intellectual preparedness in his publications for everyone to access and scrutinize.

The PDP National Chairman assured that Atiku would hit the ground running if elected president in 2023.

Ayu stated this while speaking in the Federal Capital Territory on Friday.

He said: “While the others are utterly confused about how, where or when to even begin their campaigns, PDP is already preparing for governance.

“Our Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has already exhibited his intellectual preparedness in his publications that are already in the public space for everyone to access and scrutinize.

“PDP will not waste six months in the Presidential Villa thinking of what do with power.”

Atiku Speaks On Withdrawing From Presidential Race Over Rift With Wike, Others

The presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku has debunked claims that he is withdrawing from the 2023 presidential race.

OsunDaily News reports that Atiku made this known through his media aide, Paul Ibe, while reacting to claims made by a Twitter user, Cousin Ray, on Friday.

Ray had claimed that a source close to Atiku said he was planning to withdraw from the presidential race over his inability to resolve issues with the five aggrieved governors.

The Twitter user also said the PDP candidate was becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of traction in his campaign and the crisis in the party.
