Ghanaian YouTube personality and content creator, Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, also known as Kwadwo Sheldon, has congratulated Nigerians as the Super Eagles of Nigeria reached the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cote d’Ivoire after beating South Africa in the semi-final encounter on Wednesday.
Sheldon, who had said that Ghana cannot allow Nigeria to win the 2023 AFCON, also told Nigerians to enjoy their victory over the Bafana Bafana for now.
In a video post via his X account after the match, Sheldon said: “Congratulations to Nigerians. You are through to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
“But I want you people to understand that an agenda delayed is not an agenda denied. So enjoy; an agenda delayed is not an agenda denied.”
The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes, was eventually decided on penalties, where Jose Peseiro’s men won 4-2, thanks to Nwabali’s save during the shootout.
The Super Eagles will now face host Cote d’Ivoire or DR Congo in Sunday’s final.
