The Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has defended the recent meaningless words of the party’s flagbearer, Bola Tinubu.

OsunDaily News reports that Tinubu became a topic of discussion online over a viral video of him speaking gibberish during the stakeholders meeting at Imo State.

Many Nigerians mocked the former Governor of Lagos state, especially when it is not the first time he is making such a blunder.

Reacting to the criticisms, Festus Keyamo, in a post shared on Twitter clarified the statement of Tinubu,  stating it was not meaningless words as many people claim.

According to Keyamo, Tinubu said he prefers a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents are saying elsewhere.

He added that Tinubu was practically demonstrating the gibberish words of other opposition candidates by uttering those tongue-twisting words.

He tweeted: “Listen to the sense of humour of @officialABAT. He says he prefers a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents say elsewhere.

“He practically demonstrates the gibberish they say by uttering those tongue-twisting words to show the nonsense his opponents say elsewhere.”

Tinubu, Ganduje, Gawuna’s Son To Lead APC One Million

Meanwhile, the Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is preparing to stage a one million members match in support of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 20, 2022, was disclosed to newsmen on Friday (today) by the Director of Northwest Support Group of Tinubu Campaign Council in Kano, Bappa Babba Danagundi.

Danagundi told reporters that the former Governor of Lagos State’s son, Seyi Bola Tinubu, and the Kano State Governor and Deputy Governor’s sons, would be part of the march.

The event, according to the APC chieftain, will see supporters display their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and march from the Emir’s palace in the ancient city through to Kofar Nassarawa, State Road and to the Government House roundabout.
