Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has confirmed that two key players, Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku, will not be included in his side’s squad to face Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round clash at Stamford Bridge on Friday.
According to Pochettino, the duo could be available in Chelsea’s clash against Liverpool next week.
Both Gusto and Nkunku are currently recovering from injuries.
“They [Gusto and Nkunku] could be available for Liverpool on Wednesday, maybe,” Pochettino said at his pre-match press interview on Thursday.
“‘We need to see how they progress in the next few days.
“We are positive but we will see. They are not going to be available for tomorrow.”
