The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has arrived in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.
The former Governor of Lagos State was received in Owerri on Thursday by the state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, OsunDaily News reports.
Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, National leader of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu, Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, and other party chieftains were all on the ground to receive the presidential candidate.
OsunDaily News reports that Tinubu will today hold a town hall meeting in Owerri with some private sector drivers, comprising investors, manufacturers, and traders, among others in the state.
The APC presidential candidate’s aim is to listen to the private sector drivers and understand the challenges they have been confronted with in the course of doing their separate businesses.
