Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has warned Bayern Munich that “Old Trafford is not a nice place to come for opponents.”
Both clubs face each other in the last Champions League group game on Tuesday night, with United needing a win to stand a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
Ten Hag will also be hoping that the other game between FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray ends in a draw.
However, the Dutchman is very focused on their match against Bayern at home.
“Old Trafford is not a nice place to come for an opponent. But we know it starts with us.
“There is a very strong bond between the team and the fans; they are always behind us, even when we have setbacks. We have to take the responsibility and energise the fans,” Ten Hag told reporters on Monday.
