Gombe United coach, Kwairanga has blamed fatigue for his team’s defeat against Kwara United.
Kwairanga revealed that the team had technical challenges en route to Ilorin for the game.
He, however, expressed confidence that the Savannah Scorpions will redeem their image in their next game in Gombe.
“We arrived in Ilorin from Gombe on Sunday morning and we played in the afternoon. This alone is a big problem for the players,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We will return back to Gombe and begin preparations for our next game against Kano Pillars.
“We will redeem our image with the game.”
Gombe United dropped down to 16th position following the result.
Mohammed Babaganaru’s side will trade tackles with Kano Pillars in a week 11 fixture at the Pantami Stadium.
