The National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, has revealed that Kogi, Rivers and Lagos are the states with the highest all-items inflation rate in October 2023.
The NBS Consumer Price Index, CPI, report for October made this known on Wednesday.
According to the report, the all-items inflation rate on a Year-on-Year basis was highest in Kogi (34.20 per cent), Rivers (31.44 per cent) and Lagos (31.23 per cent).
On the flip side, Borno (20.06 per cent), Jigawa (23.52 per cent), and Sokoto (24.47 per cent) recorded the slowest rise in headline inflation on a Year-on-Year basis.
DAILY POST reports that Nigeriaโs headline inflation rate in October increased to 27.33 per cent from 26.72 per cent in September.
