Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has described the death of Sulaiman Baffa, Chairman of Jigawa Elders Forum and former managing director of the Nigerian Printing and Minting Company as a great loss to the people of the State and Nigeria.
Alhaji Sulaiman Baffa died at the age of 85 in the early hours of Tuesday after a protracted illness.

โHis wisdom, guidance, and tireless efforts were instrumental in resolving conflicts and addressing the concerns of our people. He was a true bridge-builder and a source of inspiration to many,โ the statement read.
Namadi expressed his condolences to the family, friends, and associates, Jigawa and Nigeria at large.
He prayed for the deceasedโs eternal peace, and for the familyโs fortitude to bear the loss.
Baffa was buried in Kano on Tuesday evening according to Islamic teaching.
