The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu has expressed optimism that the party will record resounding victories in the 2023 general elections.
Ayu projected that the PDP will win the presidential election as well as the Governorship election in twenty-five states.
He envisioned that after the 2023 elections, the PDP will hold a victory party in the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
OsunDaily News reports Ayu stated this on Wednesday while receiving members of the PDP special reconciliation committee for Lagos and Osun.
He urged all stakeholders within the party to work assiduously and be united so the PDP will win the 2023 elections.
He said: “We pray and hope that all leaders in all chapters will come together and work as one family so that by early next year, the PDP will be celebrating at least 25 governors and also be having a big victory party in the Presidential Villa. This will be possible with people like you.”
Igbos Will Vote For Tinubu
The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has assured Igbos that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will definitely take care of them If he is elected into power.
He made the promise during the inauguration of the Ebonyi Governor’s Lodge on Wednesday in Abuja.
The governor also promised the APC flag bearer that the South-East would vote him into power in 2023.
He said the assurance was a reflection of the stand of other South-East governors.
Umuahi promised Tinubu a massive presidential campaign rally in the State adding that all their votes would be going to the APC.
