Super Falcons Defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed satisfaction with the teamโs performance against Cameroon on Friday.
Randy Waldrumโs side played out a 0-0 draw with the Indomitable Lionesses at the Stade de la Reunification, Douala.
Despite failing to record a win in the game, Plumptre was happy with the Super Falcons display.
โWe will take it game by game. Obviously, the target is to qualify for the Olympics. We have not been at the Olympics, I donโt know for how long,โ Plumptre stated during her interaction with the media after the game.
โSo, we donโt look past the game we have now. The focus now is on Cameroon, obviously there are more qualifying games to come.
โWe will put in a performance like we did today in the second leg. Getting a draw is good. We didnโt get a win today but we will try and do that next time.
โWe will take the performance to the next game and obviously, we will win and make it to the next round. We would like to take it game by game.โ
The reverse fixture will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Monday.
